Candidates and Elected Officials

TN Voter Connection is designed to help the community better understand who is seeking office, who is currently serving, and how public leadership connects to the concerns of everyday people.

Understanding Leadership in the Community

This section is designed to help visitors and members learn more about candidates, elected officials, the offices they hold or seek, and the importance of public accountability and community service.

Candidates

Candidates are individuals seeking elected office. TN Voter Connection is designed to provide a structured and accountable way for approved candidates to share information with the community. The goal is not simply to list names, but to give voters a clearer understanding of who is running, what office they seek, and how they may serve the public.

Candidate(s) Information

Candidate pages may include information such as the office sought, district, biography, campaign statement, issues of concern, and other approved public details.

Approval Required

A person may not simply post candidacy information automatically. Candidates must first become approved members of TN Voter Connection, and then request candidate access before their information is added.

Candidate participation is subject to membership approval and administrative review before candidacy information becomes active on the platform.
Elected Officials

Elected officials are the people currently serving in public office. This section is intended to help the community understand who represents them, what office each person holds, and how those positions affect neighborhoods, schools, public services, and civic life.

Know Who Represents You

Public office matters most when citizens know who is responsible for decisions affecting their district, precinct, school system, and community.

Leadership and Accountability

This section helps connect the public to offices and officeholders so community members can stay informed and engaged.

Why This Section Matters

Voters should not have to make decisions without understanding the people seeking office or the leaders currently serving. A well-informed community is better prepared to ask questions, compare candidates, understand leadership roles, and stay engaged in civic life.

Step 2

Request candidate access through the members area.

Step 3

Receive administrative review and approval.

Step 4

Add approved candidacy information for public display.

Coming Listings

As this section grows, TN Voter Connection may display approved candidate profiles and public information about elected officials. This starter page prepares the website structure for those future additions.

Future approved candidate listings and elected official information can be displayed here once those sections are connected to the website database.
